FAQs

Do I need prior meditation experience?+
No prior meditation experience is needed! Sahaj Samadhi is designed so that beginners can effortlessly slip into deep meditative states from day one. However, prior completion of the Art of Living Happiness Program is a prerequisite for this program.
What if I fall asleep while meditating?+
It's completely normal! If you fall asleep, it simply means your body is deeply rested and catching up on missed rest. Just continue your practice regularly — over time, your body will balance out and you'll remain aware during meditation.
How is this different from guided meditation?+
Guided meditations rely on external instructions, keeping the mind engaged in following directions. Sahaj Samadhi uses a personal mantra — a subtle sound that allows the mind to effortlessly transcend thought itself, taking you to deeper, self-sustaining states of silence.
How much time do I need to practice daily?+
Just 20 minutes, twice a day — ideally on a relatively empty stomach, before meals or at least 90 minutes after eating. Find a quiet, comfortable spot, and let the mantra do the rest.
